NEW Histotechnologist OR Histotech OR Histology Technician opening at a full service clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory located on Long Island! This laboratory is fully accredited by The College of American Pathologists (CAP), New York State Department of Health, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CLIA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full time Histotech on Day Shift! The histotech will be responsible for routine and complex histology procedures and will have the opportunity to work in cytoprep as well. For consideration applicants must have:
Required:
- Bachelors or Associates in Histology (or a related field)
- New York State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT), Clinical Laboratory Technician or Histology
Preferred:
- HT/HTL ASCP Certification
