At Chilton Medical Center, you will have the privilege of helping this team care for 10,000 pediatric patients annually. 7 ED beds and 4 acute-care Peds beds make up the Chilton Pediatrics Hybrid Unit. We are hiring pediatricians (ABP/AOBP) with emergency medicine experience, and we welcome the opportunity to help you secure this job opportunity! Opportunity Overview:
- BC/BE (ABP/AOBP) pediatricians with EM experience preferred
- New grads are eligible to receive up to 240 hours of EM training (FT providers)
- 1099 independent contractor status
- EMR: Epic
- 7 pediatric ED beds and 4 acute-care pediatric beds
- 6 % admission rate
- 24-hour pediatric EM physician coverage per day
- 12-hour clinical shift times are 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am
- ACLS/PALS required
