Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to work in collaboration with the Neonatologists in NICU
NNP s work 3-14 hour shifts (longer as needed), per week and do not take call. Day Shift averages 6-8 patients per day while night shift covers the ICU and intermediate nursery. They cover high risk deliveries and do transport from outlying hospitals. The unit does not care for surgical babies. The NNPs will primarily be used for nights, but may do days depending upon staffing needs.
