We are seeking a Critical Care/Trauma Physician for ongoing intensivist coverage in Anchorage, Alaska. The position requires managing daily volumes of 10-15 patients, supported by ICU nursing staff and respiratory therapists. Candidates should be proficient in key procedural skills including central venous access, intubation, and more.
Our HCA facility in Alaska in currently in need of Intensivist coverage in Anchorage. This is an ongoing need and the facility would prefer 7 day blocks of coverage. All travel and medical malpractice provided. Please find additional details below. Please call or email me for consideration.
Shifts: 7A-7P; 7P-7A
Daily Volume: 10-15
Support Staff: ICU nurses, ICU Charge Nurse, Respiratory Therapists, EKG techs, ECHO tech, EEG tech
Minimum Procedural Requirements:
- Central venous access
- Hemodialysis catheter placement
- Arterial Lines
- Intubation
- Chest Tubes (medical and surgical)
- Lumbar Punctures
- Bronchoscopy with BAL
