Job Function:
- Primarily outpatient role in new ambulatory pavilion
- Inpatient consults rotated, likely a month at a time
- Average of 15 patients a day in the office, potential for 3-4 consults a day when on service
- Mon-Fri standard 8:30-4:30/9-5 schedule, no scheduled weekend hours (calls can be handled over the phone)
- Interaction with internal medicine residents, didactics and teaching initiatives part of the responsibilities
- Support from 2 MAs for intakes and blood draws
