A healthcare system in New Jersey is actively seeking a licensed Breast Imaging Attending to join their growing medical team in Monmouth County.
Responsibilities:
TheBreast Imaging Attending will be responsible for:
- Supervising and interpreting various breast imaging studies, including mammograms, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and other specialized breast imaging techniques
- Meeting with patients to discuss their imaging results, explain any findings, and answer questions
- Performing or supervisingminimally invasive procedures, such as breast biopsies, to obtain tissue samples for further analysis
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of breast imaging procedures
- Participatingin quality improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of breast imaging services within their department or institution
- Often collaboratingwith Breast Surgeons, Oncologists, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with breast conditions or breast cancer
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
- Board Eligible / Certified
