Position Highlights:
- Location: Near Redway, CA
- Start Date: April 4, 2025
- Duration: Ongoing, with specific dates of coverage currently scheduled for April 46 and May 24, 2025. Additional dates may be added.
- Shift Hours: Call coverage from 7:30 AM to 7:30 AM.
- Call Details:
- Beeper call with a 20-minute response time.
- Call type includes both phone consultations and potential in-person care.
- Practice Type: Inpatient only; outpatient services are not required.
Requirements:
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurological Surgery.
- Active California medical license (no reimbursement for licensing fees).
- Proficiency in a variety of neurosurgical procedures, including:
- Trauma and spinal surgeries (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, with or without instrumentation).
- Tumor resections and skull base surgeries.
- Aneurysm clippings, cerebrovascular, and endovascular procedures.
- Placement of ICP monitors, VP shunts, and more.
- Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is preferred.
Facility Highlights:
- Trauma Level III certified.
- Stroke-certified hospital.
- No requirement for admissions, rounding, or teaching/supervising other healthcare providers.
Additional Information:
- Travel and lodging will be arranged by the staffing vendor.
- Credentialing timeframe: 6090 days.
- Insurance coverage provided by the staffing vendor.
