The position involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in a clinic setting near Lafayette, Louisiana. The role includes performing well-woman exams, conducting deliveries, and managing various gynecological procedures part-time, with flexible weekend call obligations. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in OBGYN, preferably with a Louisiana license or compact license acceptance.
Location: Near Lafayette, LouisianaSchedule: FTE - 4 weeks per month only (at this time will not consider 2-3 weeks per month)Shift: Monday Thursday 8a-5p, Friday, 8a-12p, 1-2 weekends per month of back up call for the laborist groupCall: 1-2 weekends per month.Patient volume:18-20 per day in clinic, 350 deliveries annuallyScope: Clinic + call - well-woman exams, STD checks, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, breast exams, and IUD insertion and removals, among others. Routine OB care, including in-house ultrasounds and NSTs.Hospital: 293 beds, 26 ICU beds, not a teaching facility. Group/support: Two MD's / Two APP'sRequirements (boards, license): BC in OBGYN or truly board eligible, Ideally LA license but will consider compact licensure
