Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift.Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.Coordinates patients care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team.Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician, or standard protocols and documents according to policy.Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
Job Requirements
At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required.Two (2) years current experience required in specialty.BLS and ACLS certification required.
Schedule Information
12-day Night Shift; start time 0700.Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.On call, weekends and holidays may be required, per staff rotation.
Unit Specific Information
EMR: EPIC experience preferred, but not required; can train on-site.Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
