Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) are sought for a locum tenens contract to provide care in an inpatient facility, focusing on patient recovery and community reintegration. Collaborating with over 40 board-certified psychiatrists, PMHNPs will manage a patient load of 10 to 30 individuals, typically seeing 5 to 7 patients daily in a supportive and respectful environment. This position offers a somewhat flexible schedule with opportunities for permanent placement after six months.
Our client (inpatient facility) looking for TWO PMHNPs to work on a locum tenens contract for the next six months with the option to extend or go permanent after that.

An average patient load of 10 to 30 (depending upon the acuity of the unit) and seeing on average five to seven patients daily.
Somewhat flexible schedule allowing for four 10 hour shifts during the week.
