The Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) provides prescriptive psychiatric care and supports patient outcomes using evidence-based practices. This role includes coordinating patient care, ensuring safety, and meticulous documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Nursing with necessary certifications and has experience in psychiatric health and substance abuse.
Needing an APN with experience in Psychiatric health. You will provide prescriptive care through advanced nursing using evidence-based practice, focus on excellent outcomes and the patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provides, facilitates and coordinates patient care
- Maintains patient safety
- Document all care provided
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED:
o Masters in Nursing
o NJ APN
o CDS licensure
o DEA certificate
o Must be able to pass annual competencies and mandated education as well as maintaining state required CME
o Experience working with psychiatric and substance abuse
- PREFERRED:
o Experience in psychiatric nursing
