Advanced Practice Provider Acute Care Surgery
Piedmont Columbus Regional is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Acute Care Surgery team at our Piedmont Columbus Midtown campus. This is a full- time position, 12 hours a day (7 days on Days/ 7 days Off).
In this role you will:
- Participate in the initial assessment and management of both acutely injured and emergency general surgery patients
- Perform bedside procedures in the hospital setting
- Rounding on patients in the hospital
- Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the ICU
- Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization
- Have the possibility of first assist duties in the operating room

Qualifications - External
Masters, Bachelor s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
or
Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Emergency department experience as an RN/NP/PA in a busy trauma center is preferred.
