Assignment Overview: - Location: Near Piney Point, Maryland
- Start Date: April 7, 2025
- Duration: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Number of Providers Needed: 2
Key Responsibilities: - Perform general and regional anesthesia for a variety of procedures.
- Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and handle your own cases as needed.
- Provide care for a wide range of surgical cases including:
- Complex orthopedic, vascular, and neurosurgical procedures
- Obstetrical and thoracic cases
- Epidural and spinal anesthesia
- Manage post-operative pain through techniques such as extremity blocks and epidural steroids.
Facility Highlights: - Trauma Level: Level III
- Operating Rooms: 14
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff: Collaborative team including CRNAs and other professionals.
Requirements: - Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Anesthesiology.
- Licensure: Active Maryland license or eligibility for IMLC.
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and ABLS required.
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days.
