Job Details
General job duties include assisting patient care team with intake of outpatients, taking vital signs, interviewing patients, assessing skin care needs, ambulating patients, and collecting lab specimens.Performs physical assessments upon admission, documents findings, and communicates significant physiological and behavioral findings to physicians.Administers prescribed medications and monitors patients' responses to treatments.Assists physicians during outpatient procedures and collaborates with healthcare team members to coordinate care.
Job Requirements
Active nurse license to practice in Illinois.Current CPR certification (BLS).Minimum of 2 years' experience in Radiation Oncology preferred.
Schedule Information
8am-4:30pm flex as needed based on patient volume.

Outpatient department with a nurse to patient ratio appropriate for outpatient care.
