Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist
- Performs exams from start to finish
- Lab orders/results available within 30 days for CT exams with contrast
- Confirm order is accurate and has authorization
- Call and schedule patients according to department protocol
Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologist
- One year experience preferred in OB/GYN exams, breast is a plus
- BLS
- Certification through ARDMS or equivalent in abdomen and/or OB/GYN
- License from Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) upon start date
