The role entails performing procedures such as suturing, EKG interpretation, and well-woman care, while collaborating with a small support team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a rural area and is required to manage a patient load of 3-5 per day.

- Monday-Thursday 8:30a-5:00p
- No Call and No weekends.
- Hospital based practice.
- 50% Adults (18+), 45% Geriatric, & 5% Pediatrics
- Support Staff: 1 PA, 1 RN & Patient Access Support.
- No other physicians will be present during locums coverage.
- Locums will not supervise.
- Current PA-C operates the x-ray. No x-ray tech onsite.
- Setting: Outpatient Only
- Required Procedures: Medicine - Adult Outpatient, Geratrics; Pediatric - Infant (30 days - 1 year), Toddler (1-2 years), Child (3-13 years), Adolescent (13-18 years), General Outpatient; GYN - Well women Care (pap smear); Orthopedic - Common musculoskeletal problems; Occupational Medicine - Employment physicals/examinations, Disability exams/Workers Comp, Diagnosis and management of common industrial-related medical problems; Adult Procedures - EKG Interpretation, Suturing Minor Lacerations, and I&D; Pediatric Procedures - Suturing minor lacerations.
- Preferred Procedures: Medicine - Urgent Care; Pediatric - Newborn (Birth-30 days), newborn care; Orthopedic - non-displaced fractures, casting & splinting; & Adult Procedures - X-ray interpretation.
