Split Role Between Metropolitan Veterinary Associates (MVA) and Metropolitan Veterinary Urgent Care and Specialty (MVUC&S)
Are you ready to elevate your anesthesia nursing career while working across two dynamic veterinary facilities? This unique role allows you to split your time between Metropolitan Veterinary Associates (MVA), the region's largest privately-owned specialty, emergency, and critical care hospital, and our brand-new Metropolitan Veterinary Urgent Care and Specialty (MVUC&S) center.
At MVA, you'll work alongside our board-certified anesthesiologist, gaining invaluable experience with advanced diagnostics and patient care across 13 specialty departments. At MVUC&S, you'll partner with our experienced surgeon, playing a key role in delivering exceptional surgical and anesthesia care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

What You'll Do: As an Anesthesia Nurse, you will:
- Monitor and manage anesthesia for a variety of cases, from routine to critical.
- Collaborate closely with the anesthesiologist at MVA and the surgeon at MVUC&S.
- Provide exceptional patient care during procedures and recovery.
- Maintain detailed medical records and communicate effectively with team members.
- Utilize advanced technology and techniques to deliver top-tier care.
Schedule Options: - 6 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
- Wednesday/Thursday at MVUC&S Surgery Center
- Monday/Friday at MVA
- 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
- Wednesday/Thursday at MVUC&S Surgery Center
- Monday/Friday at MVA
Who You Are: The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience monitoring anesthesia, with exposure to critical and non-critical cases.
- Hold a current CVT/LVT/RVT license or equivalent educational experience.
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Be passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Requirements
Your skills & experience and how you'll utilize them to help our patients:
- Broad knowledge of basic small animal medicine (pharmacology, proper restraint/handling, venipuncture, laboratory testing)
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and disease processes
- Anesthesia: Induction, monitoring, troubleshooting, recover patients
- Work with board certified Anesthesiologists
- Position and capture of radiographs
- Communicate with clients , and team members (verbally and written)
- Attention to detail and a calm demeanor required
- Ability to work in a fast paced, environment

Salary: From $26 per hour + $5,000 sign-on bonus
