The position is for a locum tenens Radiologist in California, focusing on interventional radiology procedures and film readings during hospital shifts. The ideal candidate will perform basic interventional procedures, read CT scans, and possibly conduct US-guided breast biopsies, all within a set schedule of 8am to 5pm with no overtime or night calls. Candidates must be board certified and possess an active California medical license, with availability for specific short-term assignments throughout late 2024 and early 2025.

Preferred Schedule: Work schedule in hospital only 8am-5 pm. NO overtime, no night call
Worksite Setting: Hospital
Scope of Work: basic IR, temporary, permanent tunneled dialysis catheters, central lines, thoras, paras, lung biopsies, read CTs
US guided breast biopsies is a huge bonus. We have 3D tomosynthesis
Work schedule in hospital only 8am-5 pm. NO overtime, no night call I read offsite when on vacation 150-200 films daily
Volume reading is not required.
If the rad covering can real 10-15 CTs, 30 plain films, that fine.
Usually dod 10 IR procedures which includes paras, thoras, maybe 3 dialysis catheters in a week
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: BC and CA Resident, CA License and RHB, active California license
