We are seeking experienced nurses for a Contract position which will require every other weekend & holiday and 12 hours shifts (Days) 6:30a-7p.The nursing role involves utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients, administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act.Nurses will document according to standards of care, develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction.Participation in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance and utilizing clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care is expected.Utilizing critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.
Job Requirements
Candidates must have a current Wisconsin (WI) License and CPR/BLS.Candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu.Travel RN may be required to float to other units.Looking for submissions of travelers located at least 60 miles away from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
