An established healthcare network in New York is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their growing Psychiatric team as their Deputy Director of their residency program!
Responsibilities:
The Deputy Director Psych Nurse Practitioner (NP) will:
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Community Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Fellowship.
- Acts as the primary preceptor for the Fellows in the program.
- Develops and implements fellowship curriculum and training content. and collaborates with consultants and/or experts in the field for program growth and development.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with external agency partners in the community.
- Refines and implements methods of program evaluation.
- Performs assessment and treatment planning for patients in the area of Behavioral Health.
- Meets regularly with program staff to address clinical issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Experience in a Psych role / setting
