Summary: This position provides essential laboratory services and supervises staff, ensuring compliance with standards. You will spend at least 50% of your time performing technical duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate technical functions and staff activities.
- Manage work schedules, personnel performance, and training.
- Contribute to budget planning and departmental goals.
- Conduct research and introduce new laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Consult with medical staff on laboratory matters.
- Participate in the Quality Assessment Program and various projects.
- Perform medical technologist duties, including tests and procedures.
