Specialty Profile Notes
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, with a minimum of 6 months experience with Pediatric studies.
Will be conducting adult and pediatric cardiac studies in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
Pediatrics will be 25% of the volume of studies; Sonographer will be scheduled for 7 studies in an 8 hour shift.
There will not be any fetal heart monitoring.
Requirements:
RDCS issued by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, RCS issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or RCCS issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) are required and BLS issued through American Heart Association.
