Job Details
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.Wears appropriate surgical attire.Will have a working knowledge of sepsis and aseptic technique provided through orientation.Checks cleaning supplies each morning.Wipe down lights, booms, and tables prior to first case.Takes dirty linen to soiled utility room.Performs between case room cleaning and terminal cleaning according to standards.Transports patients and beds to the Holding Room / Operating Room.Demonstrates proper ID and safely transports patients.Run errands in a timely manner.Obtains supplies, equipment or medication in a timely manner.Helps to transfer patients to and from the operating room table.Assist families to consult rooms when no volunteer is available.Stocks areas assigned by supervisor.Cleans sub-sterile and ante areas.Maintains stock of oxygen tanks and carbon dioxide tanks.Perform weekly cleaning of x-ray aprons and storage rooms.Assumes personal responsibilities for professional development and continuing education.Responds to co-workers in a helpful, courteous manner.Respects, at all times, the confidentially of the patients records and facility operations. Uses complete discretion when discussing patient matters.
Job Requirements
License/Certificate Verification: Primary Source Verify. Copy of License / Certificate Needed state specific registry.BLS: AHA only, required for onboarding.Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 vaccinations or Titer WITH lab print out. NO declinations accepted.MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations or Titer WITH Lab print out. NO declinations accepted.Fit Test: Required for all travelers with make/model to be completed within a year of start.Influenza Vaccine: Required Sept- April. Medical/Religious exemptions will be decided case by case with a physicians statement or written signed statement from traveler.Driver's License/State ID: Provide a copy of a valid up to date drivers license.2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): 1st within 1 year, 2nd within 30 days of start. Neg Q-Gold or Tspot also acceptable if completed within 90 days prior to start.Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations or Titer WITH Lab print out. NO declinations accepted.Social Security Card: Provide a copy of Social Security Card.McLeod Criminal Background Check Results: Must Include: County, Statewide, National Search, OIG, EPLS, OFAC, NSOP, SS Trace, and Education Verification - Done within 60 days of start covering last 7 years, Updated annually.McLeod Employment Verification: 5 years.McLeod Drug Screen: 10 panel drug screening completed within 30 days of start. Rapid drug screen is not accepted.McLeod Skills Checklist: Clinical only, completed prior to start updated annually.McLeod Confirmation of Assignment: MCL standard form required.
