Job Overview
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Nurse Manager, Inpatient Services.
Responsibilities
* The Nurse Manager provides leadership in working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
* The Nurse Manager maintains clinical skills and acts as both a clinical leader and resource nurse, as well as, administrative leader, assuming 24-hour responsibility for the unit.
* This position will be responsible for overseeing daily nursing practice in an assigned department to ensure that safe and appropriate care is provided.
* The Nurse Manager will collaborate actively with medical, administrative, and interdisciplinary leadership to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree (BSN)
Active RN license in state of practice
5 years' experience as a nurse
3 years' experience in leadership position
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
1 Year of Pediatric experience
1 year experience in clinical research
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
