Shift: Shift 1
Responsible for operationalizing global transfer requests, while coordinating emergency air evacuation traffic and communication with international clients. Serves as an expert for the BH International marketplace and demonstrates clinical competencies for all areas of support in the Patient Logistics Center (PLC), while supporting continuous process improvement. Responsible for operationalizing requests from international clients for Emergency Department visits and managing the international patients' visits and disposition. Supports BH Maritime Clinic with international client requests, including last-minute requests. Provides real-time support to BH International Hospitality team in communicating with physicians, international insurance companies, cruise ships and all international clients. Provides Medical Parole letters as needed. Promotes a culture of high performance, open communication and maintaining positive relations with all members of the Broward Health team.
Education: Associate's in nursing, BSN preferred
Experience: Three to five years of related nursing and charge experience required. Two years of emergency Department, Critical Care and/or Trauma preferred.
Credentials: State of Florida Registered Nurse
HCP-CPR & Basic computer proficiency.
