We rotate unless skill mix is needed.Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Rounding, Hourly Rounding with 5P’s checked. Reporting to PCT’s of known needs at beginning and during shifts, Check glass board for dept focus areas, Scrolling video kiosk available as well as email for update references.Hospital Specifics: Certifications: BLS/ACLS/NIHRequested Skill Set: Cardiac knowledge preferredMust have: ACLS/BLSAdvanced skills needed: Knowledge of Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone dripsProcedures performed on unit: Chest Tube management, wound vac management, EKG’s ad libDress Code: RN- Navy and CNA/PCT- ceil blue scrub set and jacket (if desired). May wear white, blue, grey, or black tshirt underneath if desired- no graphics. No artificial or gel nails or gel nail polishUnit Guidelines/Policies: Documentation of telemetry application, acknowledging rhythm strips and place in chart each shift. NO PASS ZONE for bed alarms, call lights, and IV alarms, etc.Awards/Recognition: Facebook/ Parkridge Medical Center page has many photos, stories, and videos, Daisy and Bee Awards, iHEAL nominationsAny additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: We have Charge Nurses with 12, 16-, and 39-year seniority on dayshift and 15+ on nightshift.
