Title: Telephonic First Call Representative

Job Description:
This role is eligible to participate in Zenith's hybrid work schedule which provides the flexibility to work from home on select days of the week according to the in-office schedule established by regional executive leadership.
Position can be filled in Sarasota, FL, Springfield, IL, Fresno, San Diego or Woodland Hills, CA Branch Offices
Under general supervision, performs a variety of customer service duties requiring thorough knowledge of all applicable procedures and policies.
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Answering a large volume of phone calls promptly and efficiently and documenting all phone conversations in the notepad system.
This guarantees that all departments have access to current information.
Obtain information over the telephone or from written correspondence in order to complete, process and distribute the Notice of Injury.
Responsible for obtaining additional claim/injury information to complete one of the three point contact.
Must be able to handle calls from various states, funds, and clients.
All having diversified needs and requirements.
Responds to requests for provider information using a variety of source material.
Schedule medical appointments for initial treatment as well as fax all required.
documentation to providers.
Document note pad with all important information needed to assist the adjusters with their ability to handle the notice.
Responsible for assisting in the printing and mailing out daily notice of injures as specified for state and office requirement.
May be responsible for clerical duties associated with First Call requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Experience Qualifications
Entry Previous Call Center Experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
Claims or some nursing background a plus.
Type 35 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
Personal computer and mainframe computer skills required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Exceptional telephone skills and manners.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be highly organized.
The expected salary range for this position is $18.13 to $22.66 in Sarasota, FL or Springfield, IL.
The expected salary range for this position is $21.03 to $26.28 in Woodland Hills, CA.
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
