A hospital ED is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located near Charlotte, North Carolina.
Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine and have current ACLS and BLS certifications (ATLS is not required, but candidates should be willing to acquire it). The credentialing process typically takes 60-90 days for full privileges, though temporary privileges are available. An active North Carolina license and DEA registration are required. Shifts include 12-hour day or night shifts at a freestanding emergency department and 10-hour shifts at a hospital, with solo physician coverage. Flexibility in scheduling is preferred, and travel and lodging are included.
Dates Needed: ASAP through Summer 2025
Call Ratio/Schedule: Freestanding ED -12 hr days and nights. Hospital 10 hr shifts.
