A facility is seeking a pediatric hospitalist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Pendleton, OR.
This position offers 24-hour call coverage with an estimated 1-4 hours of on-site work per shift. The provider must be experienced and confident in neonatal resuscitation, intubation, placing lines, administering emergency medications, and stabilizing patients for transfer if necessary. The role involves pediatric locum coverage, including 24/7 on-call responsibilities for newborn care from OB, admission consults from the ED, and medical-surgical calls for neonate and pediatric patients. There is no NICU on-site; sick babies will need to be stabilized and transferred.
