Clinical Details
- Inpatient Trauma Level II
- Average daily census of 15-25 patients
- Some days will be under 10, some days > 30
- There is anesthesia support, no need for conscious sedation
- Hospitalists admits patients
- Average ER calls/consults in 24 hours: 10-12
- Average consults from admitted patients in 24 hours (Surgeons or hospitalists): 4-5 per day
- Average transfers in over 7 days: 10-15
- Average daily procedures on inpatients: 5-8
- 1-2 ERCPs per day (of the 5-8 procedures above)
Requirements
- Board Certified Gastroenterology or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of fellowship completion with BC in Internal Medicine)
- Active CO License or IMLC LOQ in hand
- Active CO DEA
- Required Procedures/Job Duties: General GI butter cases
- Preferred Procedures/Job Duties: ERCP
- Clean malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
- Must be available for dates listed
Call
- The site has a designated "backup" physician should another call come in at the other facility while working a call at the other facility
- Average callback hours: weekday 1.5 hours, weekend 9 hours
