The IT Technician is responsible for end user support via onsite and remote support tools; user account maintenance; and support, configuration, deployment of technology hardware and software throughout the organization. This hands-on position requires a great deal of flexibility and autonomy while working closely with end users and administrative staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technology Support
1. Provide onsite and remote end-user support for:
a. Hardware: Laptops, desktops, network printers, iPhones, and tablets.
b. Software: Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 applications and services, internet browsers, and miscellaneous applications.
c. Endpoint Connectivity: general LAN and Wireless access.
d. General technology use.
2. Facilitate warranty repairs, perform basic hardware repair tasks such as swapping a laptop keyboard or hard drive.
3. Work with the Technology Coordinator, IT Service Provider, and third-party vendors on escalations and permanent resolution of widespread and/or recurring issues.
4. Facilitate communications to ensure complete and satisfactory end-user support outcomes.
Technology Deployment
1. Install and deploy Windows laptops and desktops.
2. Install peripherals such as monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, webcams, and desk phones.
3. Deploy all-in-on printer/scanners and facilitate configuration.
4. Configure and deploy smart phones and tablets.
Technology Administration
1. Update tickets and device assignment in a timely fashion.
2. Assist with maintaining an appropriate inventory of equipment and supplies.
3. Facilitate communications and escalations with IT Service Provider.
4. Provide accurate and timely communications and documentation of needs, problems, and resolutions.
Exposure to additional system administration tools will be provided based on skillsets and a desire to learn and grow.

Excellent customer relations skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to work directly with end users are essential. Ability to work independently and re-prioritize tasks as needed. Good verbal and written communication skills. Walking, sitting, bending, crouching, reaching, seeing, hearing, speaking, feeling. Lifting up to twenty-five pounds and sitting for long periods of time in front a computer screen. Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and ability to travel regularly to other locations within approximately thirty minutes of the main office. Proficiency with Microsoft platform, including but not limited to Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365. Excellent interpersonal skills. Computer hardware troubleshooting and, on occasion, basic repair. 2+ years of technical experience and/or training with a high school diploma. Resume and two references upon request.
