OverviewKellyConnect® is looking for professional talent with inventory experience!
Creates and/or maintains tracking of issues using reports, charts, etc. Reviews and audits departmental procedures (Completed forms, PO receipt documentation, etc.). Reviews, monitors, creates orders for department work order supplies and tracks/monitors department budget. Main focus areas of the postion are, System accuracy, Data integrity and Cycle counts.
Responsibilities For a typical day as an Inventory Specialist you’ll be:
- Creating work orders for manufacturing, validations, programs, testing, salvage process, etc.
- Notifying the Capacity Planner of material shortages.
- Monitoring Work Orders (WO) and Purchase Orders (PO) longer than a certain period of time that are aging.
- Communicating any major issues to the shift incoming Inventory Specialist.
- Performing regular cycle counts per approved procedures in conjunction with Warehouse Associates.
- Investigating inventory discrepancies
- Communicating with Purchasing and/or Raw Material Supply Planners PO discrepancies/missing paperwork (COC, packing list, closed PO, etc.).
- Reviewing and completing Salvage Process tasks on a daily basis.
- Reviewing Hold Cages to resolve discrepancies.
- Creating daily orders in for shipments to Affiliates.
- Providing support to internal departments to resolve work order issues.
- Communicating to Warehouse Facilitator and Associates regarding any changes in capacity of batches to be kitted, receiving priorities or Outgoing Raw Material shipments, on a day-to-day basis.
- Assisting Warehouse/Shipping Associate Facilitator with Department Production Meetings.
- Acting as backup for Warehouse Associate Facilitator, as needed to coordinate work shift task, priorities and overtime.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
- Following current Compliance Regulations and Standards.
- Ensuring safe working conditions and practices in the Department.
- Attending/Completing assigned Trainings as instructed through Compliance Wire.
QualificationsThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 0-2 Years experience
- Have basic computer skills and experience using of software application(s).
- Have knowledge of ERP system
- Have Intermediate Excel skills.
- Understands and adheres to EPS principles and rules.
It's a plus if you:
- Understand ADAPTIV (preferred)
- Can speak, read, and write in Spanish
