Dates/Coverage: ASAC - Ongoing sporadic PRN dates. Specific upcoming dates needing coverage as follows:
Nov 25-27
Dec 23-24 and Dec 26-27
Dec 30-Jan 3
The schedule is Monday-Friday from 7a-3:30p. Locum will very rarely be asked to stay late.
Weekend Call Requirements:
Must be able/comfortable with OB/epidurals, some trauma, some spine, simple peds cases, bread and butter stuff to cover call. No hearts.
Must be available to cover 1 weekend per month
Case Mix: OB, General surgery, GI, Bariatric, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, some ENT (most of it is done at the local ASC), some peds.
Must be comfortable with OB/epidurals, some trauma, simple peds cases, and bread and butter cases to cover call. Really sick peds are usually shipped out. There is always a physician on 2nd call to back them up if there is overlap in patient volume or if the case is a trauma and they don't think they can handle.
Support Staff: CRNA will be physician directed the majority of the time.
