You will find the Cardio-Thoracic Surgery team is collegial, laid-back yet highly professional and works collaboratively with the Health System's supportive administration.
Practice:
•2 Surgeons currently with 4 experienced APPs
•Cardiac Capital of the World: the referral area includes the highest rate of heart disease in the world
•350 heart cases/year
•Cardiac and thoracic surgery cases
•4 ORs, 1 Hybrid OR, plus 1 new OR coming soon
•27 minute OR turnover time
•Dedicated OR teams + Cardiac Anesthesia + CRNAs
•4 RNFAs
•STRONG SUPPORT TEAM:
Mentorship by Sr Surgeon (20 years+) who does off pump CABG cases (optional; but not req'd)
BD Director assists in helping establish new surgeons within the community
