An Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician is needed for a locum tenens position providing coverage for clinic and call. Responsibilities include managing patient care, performing deliveries, and conducting procedures such as LEEPS and Colposcopies. Candidates must be board certified and hold an active medical license, with an average patient volume of 15-20 per day in the clinic setting.
Coverage: OBGYN
Site is looking for a NEW providers to begin.
LOCUM for 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
AND
LOCUM to perm.
Must be board certified.
BLS required- PALS would be an added bonus
COVID vaccine required or medical exemption
Must be willing to do clinic and call
Call is 8am-8am
Clinic is 8am-5pm
15-20 patients seen in office per day on average
EMR: Athena in clinic, Meditech in hospital
Either active IA license, compact license or able to obtain IA license ASAP.
Malpractice history will be reviewed carefully by our team.
Average deliveries is 15-25/mo
C section suite on the L&D floor
LEEPS/Colps done in office
Hospital provides anesthesia for all procedures
Robot trained preferred but not necessarily required
Hospital does not have a NICU those patients are Life Flighted to Iowa City
