Position: Anesthesiologist Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida Responsibilities: - Provide medical direction and supervision to Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in delivering anesthesia services.- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including orthopedic, gynecology, urology, general surgery, cardiovascular, and gastroenterology cases.- Collaborate with surgical colleagues to achieve enhanced recovery goals using peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques.- Participate in perioperative patient care, including pre-operative evaluations and post-operative management.- Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in Anesthesiology.- Share call duties and holiday schedules with the group to promote individual hourly and compensation flexibility. Requirements: - Board certification in Anesthesiology.- Candidates who are board eligible must become board certified within two years of eligibility.- Valid State of Florida medical license.- Valid DEA license, ACLS, and BLS certifications.- Proficiency in basic peripheral nerve blocks preferred, training provided if necessary.
