Medical Search Is in need of a Pediatric Surgeon for weekends!
Excellent Compensation!

3 weekends a month; Friday to Sunday 7a-7a,
24 hr shifts 9 shifts a month
12/1 - 3/1
Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED
Pediatric Surgery Fellowship - REQUIRED
Covid Vaccination - REQUIRED
Flu vaccination - REQUIRED
Ohio State License
Practice Setting: Level 1 trauma center. No clinic.
Schedule: 7am-7am
Call Schedule: Friday to Sunday
Call Ratio: 3 weekends a month
Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 1-3
Annual ER Volume: 80,000 sick and injured kids every year
Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Number of Operating Rooms: 9
Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 4
Description of OR Staff: Fully staffed with pediatric anesthesiologists
Patient Age Demographic: 1-21 years old
Procedures required: general surgical pediatric, neonatal and trauma cases, chest wall/pleural procedures, central line insertion, chest tube insertion
Additional procedures: Atresias - Esophageal, Atresias - Intestinal, Atresias - Biliary, Abdominal Wall Defects - Gastroschisis, Umbilical Defects - Omphalocele, Umbilical Defects - Hernia, Imperforate Anus
