Urology Physician at Austin Major Group summary:
The Urology Physician is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting rounds on 10-25 patients daily, and performing surgeries on emergency cases. This role requires board certification in Urology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to a fast-paced healthcare environment. The physician will work on-site from Monday to Friday with on-call responsibilities 24/7 while providing support to inpatient physician assistants during business hours.
Job Responsibilities:
- In-house presence from 7 am 5 pm, Monday Friday
- On-call responsibilities 24 hours a day while on-site
- Conduct rounds on an average daily patient census of 10-25
- Perform surgeries on cases admitted through the Emergency Department
- Utilize inpatient PA support available Monday Friday
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Urology
- State medical license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
