About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
- Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm, no call
- Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
The Endocrinologist will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing various endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism), adrenal disorders (Cushing's syndrome, Addison's disease), pituitary disorders, metabolic disorders, and more
- Developing treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition
- Educating patients about their condition, including its causes, symptoms, treatment options, and potential complications
- Monitoring patients' progress closely through regular follow-up appointments and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on changes in symptoms, lab results, or other factors
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted NYS medical license
- BE/BC in Endocrinology (MD/DO)
- BLS or ACLS certification required
Desired Skills:
- 1-3+ years of experience in outpatient setting
- Interest in Population Health Management.
