The Neurohospital locum tenens opportunity in Oklahoma
-Location: 100 miles from Tulsa, Oklahoma
-Duration: October 2019 on-going (90+ days with possibility for permanent)
10/13 (5p) 10/21 (7a)-
11/4 ( 7a ) 11/11 (7a )
12/2 (7a) - 12/9 (7a)
Every other week starting in 2020
-Schedule: 7 on, 7 off Typically start Sunday evening at 5p with call
-Shift: 12 hours Plus rotating call call
-Scope: Admit all stroke patients, cover 12 bed Neuro ICU, round/consult for all inpatient neurolog. Must be comfortable managing following populations: neurocritical care, general acute neurology, stroke .Procedures Required: Lumbar Puncture very rare but beneficial to be competent, needs NIHSS certification
Volume of Coverage: average patient census is about 15 patients.
Hospital: Epic EMR, 380 bed hospital
-Required: Board certified or board eligible, Active Oklahoma license or willing to get one(only takes 6 weeks to become licensed)
Assistance with credentialing provided 30-60 days
