JOB INFORMATION
Typical Day: May get called in 0 - 4 times throughout a weekend. Our staff is usually called in 10 times a month on average. Hospitalists do the admission. We see patients in consult only.
Cardiology is not the admitting physician. Will need to cover STEMIs and Acute PE.
Additional call notes: Switchboard will notify the physician of a STEMI via phone and pager. The physician must call the switchboard to confirm he/she received the page.
