Pathology Opening in Phoenix, AZ FQHC About the Opening: - Full-time, permanent position- Large, not for profit multispecialty Medical Group 501 (c)(3) with more than 700 full and part time providers in 25 specialties.- Affiliation with the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance, support both undergraduate and graduate medical education programs that include nine residencies and multiple fellowships. - This unique practice opportunity is an ideal combination of practicing pathology in an academic setting with select teaching responsibilities.- Replace a retiring member of an established group of five pathologists.- Primary duties are anatomic pathology sign out.- Teaching responsibilities include pathology support for resident conferences and tumor boards.- Approximately 10,000 surgicals, 2,200 non-gyn cytologies, 8000 gynecologies, 100 bone marrows, 5-10 non-ME Autopsies.- Support staff includes 1.5 FTE ASCP certified Pathology Assistants and two full time Cytotechnologists.
