Is there rounding? Yes. They will round on clinic or service patients and on private patients as requested
Avg patients they round on? Most days there will be little to no rounding as private attendings see their own patients. Possibly 1-2 patients on mother-baby and whatever is on the labor floor (Average daily 2-3 patients to round on). Expected to see all triage patients on labor and delivery. Expected to be a resource for Family Practice residents as needed. May be called for a consult to the med-surgical or Emergency departments
How many calls do they get while on call? Varies but not a large number of calls. every now and then a consult from the ED or floor. Most shifts calls would be from the labor floor nursing staff as needed (
How many hours does it take to Round? 1-2 at most
