Business Fundamentals Job Training Program at Year Up United Careers summary:
The Business Fundamentals Job Training Program offered by Year Up United is an intensive, one-year skill development initiative designed for young adults aged 18-29. Participants gain technical and professional skills through in-class training, internships, and personalized mentorship, ultimately helping them to launch their careers in various industries. With 75% of graduates employed or enrolled in further education shortly after completion, the program also provides an educational stipend to support trainees during their internships.
Year Up United's Career Pathways is a one-year or less, intensive job training program that provides young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships and/or job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. Career Pathways participants also receive an educational stipend.
The program combines technical and professional training with access to internships and job placement support through our industry-leading talent placement firm YUPRO Placement. If you receive an internship, it may be at Amazon, Bank of America, Buzzfeed, or BEN Group among many other leading organizations in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Are you eligible?
You can apply to Year Up United's Career Pathways if you are:
- 18-29 years old
- A high school graduate or GED recipient
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
- Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- Have not obtained a Bachelorʼs degree
