- 8 hour shifts, 7a - 3:30, Mon-Fri. Some call.
- Weekend call: Fridays and Sundays OR Saturdays - would need to pick one of these 2 options. Site is very busy and will not allow back to back call shifts
- Weekend call: Friday 6p - Monday 6a
JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Level III
- The really sick peds and truly complicated trauma is almost always shipped out
- There is always a physician on 2nd call to back them up if there is overlap in patient volume or if the case is a trauma they don t think they can handle
- Types of cases: OB, General surgery, GI, Bariatric, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, some ENT (most of it is done at the local ASC), some peds.
Weekend Call Requirements:
- Must be able/comfortable with OB/epidurals, some trauma, some spine, simple peds cases, bread and butter stuff to cover call. No hearts.
- Must be available to cover 3 weekends per month in 2024 ongoing For weekend call coverage, only one weekend per month
