Radiology - Medical Director opening in MD - Position located in Easton, MD; Baltimore & DC 70m - Part-time - Office Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday - Call is 5 pm-8 am weekdays and on weekends for telephonic questions/consults only. Facility is able to enhance its various clinical programs and facilities and facilitate physician recruitment, bringing world-class medical care to the residents of Maryland's Mid-Shore region. Facility's Health Network serves the Mid-Shore region, which includes Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties. In addition to its two hospitals in Chestertown and Easton - includes two freestanding emergency centers in Cambridge and Queenstown, and a broad array of inpatient and outpatient services in locations throughout the five-county region.Facility is seeking a full-time Radiologist to lead a well-established Radiology group in Easton, MD. Looking for an individual with a desire to develop and utilize management and leadership skills and possess a good blend of experience in Radiology.Job Description: - This position is expected to devote approximately 25% time served as the Executive Physician to the employed group - Approximately 75% of time is devoted to providing direct patient care in an ambulatory setting - Define, plan, develop, implement, and oversee clinical programs and systems to guide and attain the goals of the facility - Serves as a dyad partner with Director of Operations with focus on practitioner relations and performance. - Shares in the responsibilities for leading providers in achieving practice goals - Establishes clinical practices and performance standards in collaboration with Director of Operations and CMO. - Utilizing market data, consumer research, and patient analytics, spearhead new approaches to effective clinical delivery services, including the introduction of new technology and integrated paths - Provide physician leadership in the creation of comprehensive research packages, investigating specific clinical areas/offerings and strategic partners of interest to strengthen the offering. Then, execute on cultivating any external partnerships and/or vendor relationships as necessary - Monitor performance of launched clinical programs and support continuous improvement Qualifications: - Completed US-based residency program in Diagnostic Imaging, Radiology - Board certification as an MD or DO with a current unrestricted state license to practice medicine - 5+ years clinical practice beyond residency/fellowship - 5+ years experience in managed care - MBA or advanced degree in healthcare-related discipline preferred
