Opportunity: - Well-respected and established Neonatology practice in Wichita, KS, is recruiting for a Neonatologist who is interested in an evolving QI team-based management opportunity
- Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist position available
- 8-physician practice at Wesley Medical Center
- Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on 7-week rotating schedule. 1.0 FTE does approximately 170 hours per month of in-house coverage.
- Neonatologists provide in-house call and backup call from home.
- Level-III, 60-bed NICU
- 6,000 deliveries each year at the hospital
- The intensive and special care units average around 1,000 admissions annually, with an average daily census of 54
- All services except ECMO and heart surgery
- Supported by residents and nurse practitioners
- Affiliated with KU School of Medicine Wichita, offers extensive QI and research opportunities
