Coverage: Short term both days & nights 26 shifts/mo
EMR system: Meditech
Specialty board requirement: IM/Critical Care, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Surgical/Critical Care, or Anesthesia/ Critical Care
Certifications required: ACLS/BLS
Start date: ASAP
Shift Times: 6:30a-6:30p, 6:30p-6:30a, all in house
Staff: 2 MD's/1 APC 7:30a-5:30p & Single intensivists at night
Credentialing: 6 months
Temp/Emergency privileges may be available
Procedures Required: Intubations, central lines, arterial lines & vent management; Additional preferred procedures: lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, paracentesis and chest tubes
Volume: Typically 12-15 w/APC assistance & 24 at night
No night call
Open ICU - hospitalists neither admit nor round in the ICU
