The Hospitalist Physician is responsible for providing inpatient care during night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, every other week, with an average patient load of 6-8. This role requires board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, an active Ohio license, and proficiency in various medical procedures including non-invasive ventilation and PICC line placement. The physician operates autonomously while having access to on-call supervision and specialty backup for procedures as necessary.

Shift Description: NIGHTS 7pm-7am
Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 7p-7a, every other week
Start: as soon as credentialed, likely February 2025
Details/Requirements:
Practice Setting: Inpatient; admitting and rounding
Call Ratio: No call
Average Number of Patients Per Day: 6-8
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Trauma Level/Designation: Level II
APP will Working Autonomously
Supervising Physician Present During Assignment: No, however, you will be able to contact the in-house physician on a different campus and there is a physician on-call.
Is Specialty Back-Up Available (If Needed) for Procedures Noted: Yes, ER, General Surgery, Ortho, Cardiology, Podiatry
Patient Age Demographic: Adult
Board Certified (AANP) - REQUIRED
Active Ohio License - REQUIRED
ACLS and BLS - REQUIRED
At least with 2 years of experience - Highly Preferred
Required Procedures: PA Catheter, Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap), PICC Line, History and Physicals, ER Admissions, Areas of Rounding, House Codes - Rapid Response Team
