Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN)
- Current state Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant license, valid and in good standing
- Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team, especially in stressful situations
- Ability to work well with a team
- Ability to maintain professionalism with patients and teammates
Compensation:
- Pay rate: up to $90 / hour
